For many, this concert – show was the highlight of the year. The anticipation and a series of unfortunate events surrounding the days before the show had lowered my expectations, but that night I left OAKA feeling overwhelmed and totally immersed in the atmosphere Roger Waters has created around Pink Floyd’s legendary album The Wall. Taking pictures for this show was a humbling experience. Standing in front of the huge “Wall” and witnessing the stadium go dark for the concert to begin was incredible and nerve wrecking. Photographers were allowed to shoot during the first six songs which was great. Everybody was trying to catch that elusive moment (damn you crashing airplane, I never even saw you, let alone take a picture of you). You can read the report by Rockway.gr here.
Enjoy the pics along with my favorite moment from the show. Amazing solo + Epic visuals. Comfortably Numb.
